Impeccably clean room with kitchen and excellent service. Location so close to Colombo train station, the airport and the beach and Negombo for 1 night. Chilled-out base for a couple of nights.

The breakfast was gorgeous for what was on offer, with fruits and omelettes, for instance. All of the staff were extremely friendly.

the personnel was very attentive and excellant, and the host too. the location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, not too far from a gothic-style catholic church. it was located in a very nice area short walk to the beach, restaurants and all the resorts, an excellent place for me.

The room was brand-new and neat with kitchen, just what we needed. Location: the hotel was next to the beach, all the bars and restaurants and Sri Lanka.

Our stay at 8 Plus Motels was fantastic! The room we stayed in was spacious, modern, and meticulously clean. The bathroom was also impressive, with plenty of space and modern amenities. We loved the fact that it was just a short 10-15 minute walk to the nearby ocean. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, with a selection of omelettes, fruits, bread, and coffee. Additionally, the staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs. Despite a few minor issues with wifi and maintenance, we encountered similar problems in other hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

Your location was marvellous and unbeatable, close to the beach.

The pool and courtyard area were perfect for a quick dip and some chill time after a busy travel day. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff made our room available earlier than check in, even bringing down an extra mattress to accommodate our daughter. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with fresh fruits and juice, and a standard spread of jam, toast, eggs. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, arranging our airport pick-up and providing a welcome beverage on arrival.

One major negative point was that there were no blackout curtains in the room, so it got fully lit by 6:00 am with sunlight, making it difficult to sleep beyond that time. We also noticed some minor stains on the bedsheets and towels, and there was mild water damage on the ceiling.

The owners were amazing and customer-focused, spacious room with necessary amenities, beautifully decorated common areas and pool, convenient parking space.

This hotel truly cared about making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The staff went above and beyond, arranging taxis and tuk tuks for us and even sorting out payment. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was huge and delicious, perfect for starting the day. The attention to detail, like the folded towels and artfully prepared fruit, really made this hotel stand out.

My family and I spent our Easter break at this hotel and overall it was a positive experience. the staff was welcoming, which was really appreciated after a long and tiring journey. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room which was clean, cool and welcoming. the breakfast was delicious and provided us with enough energy to start our day. Another advantage was the location, as the hotel was situated in a strategic area, which enabled us to explore the city with ease.

There were a few negative aspects of the hotel which detracted from our overall experience. One of them was the access to the hotel, which was a bit difficult.

our recent stay in negombo was great, but 8 plus motels exceeded our expectations. the modern rooms with a small kitchen and comfy beds were perfect for our family. the continental breakfast was outstanding and the family who runs the place were friendly and helpful.
